Since Chef Achatz’s first visit in 2009, Japan has been an essential source of inspiration. Its reverence for seasonality and minimalism is reflected in the precision embedded in its culinary traditions. This fall, we look forward to immersing ourselves in the culture that has helped influence our approach for decades.

M x BIG SKY RESORT

Each tour stop is unique, and Big Sky Montana is no exception. We’ll be debuting a new concept, M by The Alinea Group. During this winter residency, our seasonal menu fuses European culinary precision with the elemental character of Montana’s landscape. Every dish is a reflection of place, crafted with intention, inspired by the winter terrain, and rooted in locally sourced ingredients.

Chef Achatz was thrilled to collaborate with the visionary Faena Miami Beach team, blending Alinea’s cutting-edge creativity with Faena’s signature magic to redefine Miami’s dynamic dining scene.

We began this journey with a celebration of friendship and history. Chef Achatz reunited with Chef Greg Baxtrom, a member of Alinea’s opening team, at his acclaimed restaurant, Olmsted, to celebrate 20 years of creativity and excellence.
