Every four months, Next’s menu completely changes, shifting its focus to a different culinary region, theme, or moment in time. Past menus have included Ancient Rome; Paris: 1906; The French Laundry: 1996; Childhood; and over 20 other ambitious menus.

Next was named the Best New Restaurant in the U.S. by the James Beard Foundation in 2012 and has been awarded a Michelin Star. The Chicago Tribune has awarded Next the highest rating of four stars a record 21 times, reviewing each of our menus as if it were an entirely new restaurant.

Chef Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas opened Next in 2011.
